Thursday February 28th - The Cat in The Hat- wear your favorite hat.
Friday March 1st - If I Ran The Zoo- wear animal print.
Friday March 1st- We will celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday with special readers coming to the classroom to read to us!
Homework for the week: Monday February 11 - Monday February 25,2019
The homework packet contains the following: 1.Heartfelt Greetings- Write ch,sh,or th to complete each word, color by the code. 2. Warming Up- Write each fact family, facts to 12. 3.Hundred Chart- use the chart to help identify the number that is 1 more, 1 less, 10 more and 10 less. 4.Reading Log- Please read each day and fill out the reading log and return to school on Monday February 25th.
Conversation starter:Ask your child this week: If you could go on vacation where would you go, who would you go with, what would you do and why?
When starting a conversation remember to greet each other and have eye contact, paraphrase if needed, ask questions, end the conversation on a positive note and then thank each other for talking to one another.
Reminders: *Homework packets will be given out every Monday and they are to be returned the following Monday. Please also return Friday folders on Monday as well, don't forget to sign and date the folder. *Physical Education is on Tuesday, please make sure your child is wearing sneakers on this day. (If it raining or snowing, please pack sneakers for your child to change into at school.) *Library day is Thursday, please make sure your child has his/her library book on this day. *Pentucket Lake Book Swap Room-Your child can visit this room daily if they wish. Please have them remind me that they would like to visit the book swap room. *Snack time is at 10:40 everyday. We are finding that the children are very hungry in the afternoon .So we have added a second snack time to our schedule (around 2:15), If you could provide a second snack that would be helpful. Just a reminder that snack is not provided by the school, thank you. *If your child is going home a different way or you are picking up your child early from school, please let us or the office know. Many times the children will tell us and we are not sure if this information is true and that is all that they will think about during the day. Thank you!
